The Mini-Golf Open
I partnered with a group called Improv Everywhere (yes, the No Pants Subway ride people) to produce this piece of social content for ESPN.
To promote the upcoming U.S. Open Championship on ESPN, we turned a mini-golf course into a major golf championship.
We surprised random mini-golfers with caddies, commentators, an ESPN camera crew and a huge crowd. The "winner" was presented with the actual Claret Jug from The Open Championship.
The film broke 1,000,000 YouTube views in less than 2 weeks and created good viral buzz for the actual golf tournament on ESPN.
